Weight Lifting Program
A weight lifting program is generally designed with a person's specific preferences, strengths, and weaknesses in mind. You would normally design your program after performing a series of tests. The pre-tests for a lifting program might include riding a stationary bike to demonstrate your endurance. The other pre-tests for a lifting program could also include working out on the machines to test how much weight you can lift with your arms, shoulders, back, and legs. Once you have preformed these pre-tests, designing a weight training program is much easier.
A weight training program will also take into account what you want to improve. If you need to increase shoulder and back strength, then you probably wouldn't include too many weight lifting exercises that focus on your legs in your program. Likewise, some exercise are better for speed or training than they are for building muscle mass. A weight program is a highly personal thing, but you should probably get some help designing one if you are new to weight lifting. An expert can better set you on the right path of meeting your goals.
